#9 Al Hakawati (The Storyteller) Clare Balding: 'Walking Home: My Family and Other Rambles'

Our 9th story from our Al Hakawati series is an insightful and very moving piece from none other than Broadcaster and author, Clare Balding. This extract covers her time in Wiltshire with the 'Forget Me Not' walking group, consisting of people living with early onset memory diseases. Walking and sharing stories go hand in hand and this reading is simply wonderful. We are so grateful to Clare for agreeing to be one of our storytellers and reading so beautifully. Please share!

We hope you enjoy listening. If you do, please consider making a donation to the Hands Up Foundation - www.handsupfoundation.org/appeals/stories.

While the world rightly focusses on COVID-19, it is so important that we do not forget those suffering in other ways. Hands Up funds vital health and education services in northern Syria and Lebanon. These services don't only provide schooling and care for patients, they also promote stability and hope. COVID19 threatens their continuation and we are determined to do all that we can to keep them going. Any donation you feel able to give will make a difference. Thank you.
